Royal Enfield continues to make stylish waves here and around the world with yet another update to its lineup. Having only recently launched the Super Meteor 650 in Europe and the Hunter 350 in the Philippines, the Indian giant has revealed substantial updates to its middleweight Interceptor and Continental GT 650.
The basis platform remains unchanged with a 648cc parallel-twin engine, six-speed transmission with slipper clutch, ByBre brakes, telescopic suspension, and Harris Performance-designed frame. However, blacked-out versions have recently been released in Europe.
The engine, the transmission case, and the exhaust have gotten an all-black treatment, looking very cool while also serving to highlight the eye-catching tank designs.
The blacked-out Interceptor can be had with Barcelona Blue or Black Ray tank designs, while the Continental GT comes in either Apex Gray or Slipstream Blue.
Aside from the aesthetics, they also receive cast-alloy, 18-inch tubeless wheels with CEAT tires. An LED headlamp, a USB port, and switch cubes similar to the Hunter’s are fitted.
Non-blacked out Interceptors and Continental GTs are still available, running old-school tubed tires and plenty of chrome. We have no word yet when the blacked-out 650 Twins will be arriving in the Philippines, but we bet they’ll be a hit because you can never go wrong with black.
