San Miguel Corporation has announced that it has prepared its expressways in anticipation of heavy traffic due to the Holy Week.
Manpower has been increased at the different tollways including the South Luzon Expressway, the Southern Tagalog Arterial Road, the Skyway system, the NAIA Expressway, and the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway.
In addition to the deployment of mobile patrols and tellers, all roadworks have been suspended starting yesterday (April 3) until 10pm of April 10. This is to ensure the safe and smooth travel of Filipinos going home for the holidays.
Before you go on your long drive, please check your vehicle. Make sure that it’s roadworthy, and load up your Autosweep account.
Also, remember that the expressways have a maximum speed limit of up to 100km/h for Class 1 vehicles and 80km/h for Class 2 and 3 vehicles. And please, only use the innermost lane for overtaking.
