The Philippines has multiple wonderful beaches that tourists love to visit. And what better car to use for driving along the coast than a convertible? To supposedly celebrate 30 years of Mini’s top-down vehicle, the British marque came up with the Convertible Seaside Edition, which has just been launched locally at the showroom of Mini Philippines in Bonifacio Global City.

The Caribbean Aqua paint is reminiscent of sunlight reflecting off the sea, while the 18-inch wheels feature a Pulse Spoke design inspired by ripples in water. Meanwhile, the double white stripes on the side add a dash of sportiness to the fun-loving vehicle. This shares the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine with the Mini Cooper S, producing 192hp and 280Nm.

For those who want something elegant and sophisticated, there’s the Mini John Cooper Works Untold Edition. This features Sage Green paint and Refined Brass trimming with five parallel sports stripes on the hood that add texture and contrast. Under the hood is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine with 306hp and 450Nm.

If you’re wondering how much these cars are, the Mini Cooper S Convertible Seaside Edition is P3.72 million, while the Mini JCW Clubman Untold Edition goes for P3.8 million. The former only has 10 units available locally with two already sold, while the latter only gets six units.
