After teasing it at this year’s Manila International Auto Show, Ford Philippines has finally unveiled the new Ranger Raptor at the “Ford Island Conquest” before the event opens tomorrow to the public.
The 2.0-liter twin-turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine from the old Ranger Raptor returns, producing 207hp and 500Nm with a new 10-speed automatic transmission.
The front and rear suspension systems are fitted with a 2.5-inch lift kit from Fox, complemented by the 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped by BFGoodrich K02 all-terrain performance tires.
The interior feels similar to the regular Ranger, but the Raptor now comes with performance-oriented seats and hints of Code Orange accents in some trim parts to match its new signature color.
The Raptor also contains seven unique driving modes: Normal, Sport, Slippery, Rock Crawl, Mud/Ruts, Sand, and Baja.
The T6.2 Ranger Raptor is now for sale at P2.339 million with five years of warranty. And for those who can’t wait to drive one for themselves, you can test-drive this and the rest of the Ranger, Everest, and Territory lineup at the aforementioned event in Arca South Interactive Park, Taguig City, from May 19 to 21.
