With face-to-face classes returning, Honda Cars Philippines gives back to the community through the Department of Education’s “Brigada Eskwela.”
This program allows public schools, parents, and the community to come together and help prepare the facilities by making these safer for kids. With the pandemic still ongoing, the car company has donated noncontact thermal scanners, cleaning tools, disinfectants, and medical supplies to Don Jose Integrated High School in Santa Rosa, Laguna.
“We congratulate the Brigada Eskwela partners and coordinators for your dedication through the years,” said Vicenta Balarbar, HCPI executive vice president. “This community is much like our home, and it is the members’ shared responsibility to protect the safety and well-being of the next generation. HCPI is always grateful for opportunities to help in activities such as this.”
Hopefully, with the return of in-person classes, the supplies donated by Honda will help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
