If you hear the name Toyota Liteace, most might remember a boxy, small van that would shuttle families around in the 1990s and the early 2000s.

Now, the nameplate is making a return, but instead of being a people carrier, it will come back as a light commercial vehicle that is set to address the needs of micro, small and medium enterprises in the country.

It will be coming in more than one body type, so you can bet that there will be a truck and a van in the mix.

Plus, for interested customers looking to get one of their own, Toyota Financial Services will be offering a weekly payment scheme for the vehicle, and there will also be “unique value chain offers” to be revealed.

Other than the pricing (which starts at P570,000), more details and specifications will be announced during its launch at the Farmers Plaza in Araneta City, Cubao, Quezon City, on July 15. It will remain on display until July 17, through which you can see the vehicle exhibited in various configurations and capabilities.
