With commuters feeling the pain of high gas prices these days, motorcycle manufacturers are scrambling to offer economical rides that also take away some of the discomforts of motorized two-wheeled transportation compared to four-wheels.

While it appears that Honda continues to offer the entry-level Click 125, the Click 160 is an all-new design with pointy bodywork and stylish, 14-inch matte-brown painted (read: gold) alloy wheels. A seat height of 778mm and a ground clearance of 138mm—plus, a long and wide seat—make it an ideal scoot for riders of modest height.

A 157cc four-valve engine rated at 15hp and 13.8Nm gives the Click 160 plenty of oomph, while an Idling Stop System helps it achieve a claimed 46.7km/L based on the World Motorcycle Test Cycle Method.

With an SRP of P116,900, the scoot comes with a USB charger, a full-digital dash, all LED lighting, and a Smart Key System that includes an answer-back and anti-theft alarm feature.

Antilock brakes, however, are not included, although Honda does give the bike a Combined Brake System to link the front and rear brakes. The Click 160 comes in Matte Pearl Crater White, Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, and Matte Solar Red Metallic.
