Since its inauguration in 1997, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has played an integral role in the lives of many Filipinos, be it in the commercial or passenger vehicle segment.
As the company recently celebrated its 25th inaugural anniversary at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, new IPC president Noboru Murakami announced its green strategies and focus on good governance as the brand moves to positively impact nature, the community, and the local economy.
Dubbed “Road To Progress,” Isuzu’s new direction embraces the future as it pushes for sustainability and environmental responsibility to make lives better for generations to come.
These efforts, as Murakami shared, are part of the brand’s road map to a brighter tomorrow for all as it pursues a circular economy strategy by minimizing resource use and maximizing resource efficiency—an admirable approach from a diesel product manufacturer.
Reducing the automaker’s carbon footprint is a major goal of this vision. This also includes the shift toward renewable energy sources to power its production facilities, the elimination of single-use plastics, the reduction of overall wastage, and the creation of a more sustainable product portfolio.
Murakami encouraged dealers to employ such measures in their business operations. Not only will these strategies help the environment, but they will also optimize efficiency and growth.
The momentous event was graced by Isuzu’s responsible partners such as Antonio Zara (AC Motors Automobile Group president), Koji Nakamura (Isuzu Motors Ltd. executive officer), Kyoya Kondo (Mitsubishi Corporation division COO), and Johnny Fetalvero (House of Investment senior vice president and car business operations head). After the bigwigs expressed their heartfelt congratulations, a ceremonial toast capped off the occasion.
Here’s to another 25 years of service and success, Isuzu Philippines. Kampai!
