The Land Transportation Office has its own Road Safety Interactive Center

Last week, Department of Transportation secretary Art Tugade—along with Land Transportation Office chief Edgar Galvante—led the inauguration of the LTO’s Road Safety Interactive Center at the agency’s Main Central Office in Quezon City.

Located inside are simulators where visitors can practice their driving skills with cars (both manual and automatic) and motorcycles. There are also trivia games to help people familiarize themselves with such concepts as road signs, regulatory signage, and warnings.

In the 4D mini theater, guests of all ages can watch videos on different topics such as child safety, teen driving, older drivers, pedestrian safety, vehicle theft prevention, and different kinds of public-utility vehicles.

All of this was done as part of the government’s digital campaign to promote road safety. In case you’d like to try your hand on one of the driving simulators, the Road Safety Interactive Center will eventually be opened to the public.
