The Suzuki S-Presso gets a little more flair with the Special Edition

The Suzuki S-Presso is an adorable supermini that’s affordable and easy to run, which makes it an ideal candidate for those looking for a no-frills option as their first car. Admittedly, the vehicle does feel a little bare-bones in terms of visual flair, but the automaker aims to address this with the newly introduced S-Presso Special Edition.

The Special Edition gets several visual changes to give it a little boost in the cosmetics department. For starters, it has black cladding around the wheel arches and door sills to toughen up its appearance. This is contrasted by silver accents on the bumpers, skid plates, door molding, and grille. It also comes exclusively in an eye-catching Starry Blue Pearl finish.

Rounding out the upgrades are a roof spoiler, alloy wheels (the base variant comes with steelies), a stainless-steel sill guard, and silver highlights in the cabin.

Otherwise, you don’t get any new features or engine upgrades. It still uses the same 1.0-liter K10B three-cylinder engine which is good for 67hp and 90Nm, and is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.

The Special Edition will run you for P568,000, which is P45,000 more than the base GL variant. But it seems like a bargain compared to doing the modifications yourself, and the car looks like a good deal for those looking to squeeze a little more visual appeal out of the S-Presso.
