The Suzuki Ciaz is one of the brand’s offerings in the subcompact segment. It goes up against such models as the Toyota Vios and the Honda City, both of which have been revamped recently. Not to be left behind, Suzuki Philippines has made the 2021 update of the Ciaz official in our market.
The Ciaz gets a minor facelift up front, which keeps things looking fresh. You get a new extended radiator grille that links the two LED headlight clusters, and a sportier bumper design. The rear end stays mostly the same as the previous version.
The conservative interior gets a black theme complemented by silver accents. You’re greeted with fabric seats, a new gauge cluster, and an eight-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Finally, the same 1.4-liter mill with 91hp and 130Nm powers the Ciaz, mated to a sole transmission choice: a four-speed automatic. Safety systems like ABS with EBD, dual airbags, and a reversing camera are standard equipment.
The new Ciaz retails for P888,000 and comes in three colors: Mineral Gray Metallic, Pure White Pearl, and Super Black Pearl.
What do you think of the Ciaz’s update?
