Today, there are lots of ways of reloading your RFID account. But many people may not know that before the whole drama with contactless payments exploded last year, you could already purchase toll credits using bank mobile apps. However, not all banks offered it. And those that did took at least one day for the load to be reflected.
In this day and age when cashless alternatives are in demand, that kind of waiting time simply isn’t going to work anymore. And so, Philippine Savings Bank is offering its clients the ability to reload their RFID accounts from its mobile app. The bank also guarantees that the transaction will be completed instantly.
Simply enter your Autosweep or Easytrip account details on PSBank Mobile’s dedicated third party-account enrollment portal. Once done, you can create a reload transaction similar to how you’d pay for your bills. In addition, aside from having the choice of transferring funds immediately or at a later date, you can even schedule the reload as a recurring transaction.
You can load as little as P100 for both Autosweep and Easytrip accounts. But keep in mind that there is a P10 fee for every transaction, so it’s worth reloading in larger amounts. Interestingly, this service charge will be debited from your PSBank account for Autosweep transactions. The fee will be deducted from your Easytrip account for Easytrip payments.
PSBank Mobile can be installed on Apple and Android devices. Should you have any problems using the service, you may call the bank’s 24/7 hotline at (02) 8845-8888 or chat with a customer service representative at this website.
