Awards Season 2021: Oscar Predictions (10/02)

Did I just do one of these posts a few days ago? Yes, I did. However, so much has happened over the past few days that I simply have to revise a few major categories.

Firstly, the Critic’s Choice group shutting out Soul, The Father, and Judas and the Black Messiah makes some alterations necessary for the Best Picture race, and I am also ready to declare this year an eight-film race for that big award. Not only that, but the shortlists for nine of the categories have been announced for the Oscars, meaning some changes were necessary for the Best Visual Effects category in particular.

Without further ado, here are my current predictions for the 2021 Academy Awards.
